Back to my "roots"!

Hey everybody!

I decided to make my life easier and I'm now back to being a BRUNETTE!

My natural hair color is between a #6 and a #7 in master colorist's terms. This would be either a very dark blond or a light ash brown. So, last Friday I decided to put an end to the endless bleaching of my strands...I've been bleaching my hair since I was 18! When I was a teenager, the sunlight I was so often exposed to always gave me some very nice natural highlights, but college years came along and there was no more time to just lounge around in the sun doing nothing...(especially in Switzerland!!). The highlights are very high-maintenance, as the roots show up pretty quickly an the "dirty look", while some people say is "in" (really?!), is not very mature or professional.

Being a brunette brought out my eyes more, and I will not have to worry about touching up my roots anymore! I will post a picture soon. I have some very light copper tint to my hair, which I never had before and actually like very much. I have to get used to he "darkness" on my head. I know the color will fade away with time; it's still a bit dark, but I'm pleased with the results.
Rich loves the BLONDE hair, I know it, but I believe he can see a sexy brunette as well! :)

Now, you blondingas out there! The never-ending debate whether or not blondes have more fun and brunettes look smarter...oh, well...My personal opinion is the following: I believe blondes are perceived as fun, playful and sexy. I believe they are perceived as younger and friendly. I would never say blondes look dumb or stupid. I think this is ridiculous, offensive and I was a blonde myself for most part of my life, so I would never attribute that to any blonde. I do believe brunettes are looked at as more serious and calm. I believe brunettes pass on an image of maturity and, of course, sexiness too!
I do believe red hair is amazing....black hair and very fair skin is an amazing combination....I like that too!

You see, there are so many options out there. For now, I'm happy being a brunette again. I will incorporate this into my professional look and I can see this working out very well!
