I'd love to move to Orlio or Riolando!

We just got back from our 10 day trip to Rio de Janeiro, the city were I was born and raised. Counting my college years, internship years, more college years and married life years, I've been living oustide Rio for 10 years already. My goodness!

For some reason, I looked at Rio differently this time. I enjoyed every little thing I could enjoy. I no longer take it for granted like I used to. I can't have it everyday, so I made sure I took it allllll in and enjoyed every moment, every sight, every taste and smell, everything!

If we could only have both at the same time, right?
I would love to create my own city: a mix of Rio and Orlando.
Here is why:

Rio has beaches all over the place
Rio has mountains surrounding it
In Rio you can walk everywhere, if you live where my parents live
Rio has many coffee shops
In Rio, you take many coffee breaks throughout the day
The coffee shops in Rio serve small snacks that you can't find here and that are delicious
Rio is way more advanced when it comes to recycling
Rio is just plain beautiful
Rio's malls are awesome
Rio's lifestyle is way healthier when it comes to food and fitness
Rio has more shade than Orlando
Rio has our country club Sociedade Germania
Rio has way better schools than Orlando and surrouding areas
Rio is a better place to socialize
Rio has better service than Orlando (restaurants, retail)
Rio has no hurricanes or tornadoes like Orlando does
Rio has my immediate family right there, and many cousins and friends also
Rio has novelas (Brazilian soap-operas are the best!)
Rio's lifestyle enables you to have more help at home (maids, nannies, chefs, chofeurs,....)
In Rio, we celebrate Easter more than in Orlando

Orlando is safer than Rio
Orlando is cleaner than Rio
Orlando does not tolerate crime like Rio does
Orlando's police are not corrupt
Orlando's landscaping is "fake" but very well manicured
Orlando's Airport is awesome (I go shopping there!)
Orlando has Disney & co.
Orlando is closer to Miami, New York, Las Vegas and California...also Europe
Orlando is still developing which I like very much
Orlando has better and nicer hotels than Rio
Orlando has some of my favorite restaurants
Orlando has the Mall at Millenia
Orlando has many Barnes & Noble bookstores
Orlando has the Zaldivar/Ortiz families and many wonderful friends
Orlando allows us to live in the house we live
Orlando has Doglando
Orlando is minutes away from Winter Park and Celebration
Orlando has way less polution
Orlando is a better place for me to work and offers more business opportunities
Orlando has my favorite TV shows
It's cheaper to live in Orlando
Orlando has many stores that are open 24/7...can be helpful at times!

So you see...If I could combine both...the best of both, it would be wonderful! Nevertheless, I feel lucky. I feel lucky that I still can have both. Maybe not at the same time, but that's ok.
Although Concorde planes no longer fly, I'm sure in the near future it won't take too long to fly back and forth. At least we fly overnight over there, and don't lose the whole day like when you fly back from Europe to the US!!
