When I was growing up, I had journals and diaries....those with a tiny lock, that would keep all of my secrets safe...Writing down what I feel and what I think of has always been a hobby, and I guess blogging will be a modern version of my diaries and journals (the only difference is that secrets won't be posted here...).
My goal is to create a communication portal. I would like to share my thoughts and experiences with others, exchange ideas and create new ones.
WHY CHOCOLATE BOX?
I absolutely LOVE chocolate.
I used to look at it as my favorite comfort food back in high school and college (not a very healthy relationship with chocolate, as I always used to overeat it). As time passed by, I learned to appreciate chocolate and the different shapes, shades, flavors and colors it comes in. I learned more about it and learned to differentiate between the good quality and the poor quality ones. I learned to savor it and not just eat it. I learned to love it more and value it for what it is. I looked backstage to understand what's behind the making of. I saw the ugly and the pretty, and even visited a chocolate lounge. Chocolate is sweet, but can be bitter. Chocolate is smooth, but can also be textured. Chocolate releases endorphins in our brain and we feel good, however, if we have too much of it, our stomach will complain. Chocolate is a little bit like a metaphor for life, you see? For me it is.
My chocolate box is full of variety. So is my life. Read my Blog, and you will see why!
For now...one of my favorite chocolates:
Champagne Truffles - from Teuscher Chocolates of Switzerland
