The other day, a person very dear to me received a mega speeding ticket! Uff!
I realized that since my daughter was born, I have subconsciously slowed down tremendously. Many times I catch myself behind the wheel going just a tiny bit above the speed limit.
In a movie I watched years ago, the father told his daughter "Honey, I drive slow only when you're in the car with me"....so precious is she to him.
I feel the same way, and I believe that line in the movie was really imprinted in my subconscious mind.
Gabriella is doing fine! She is about a week away from turning 16 months. She's been taking "classes" at Gymboree playgym, and I recommend it to all mommies. The social and motor skills development have been fantastic. She does things at home she learned at Gymbo. The good thing about Gymbo is that you accompany your child (you or whoever wants to go as well!).
She clearly says "Papi" and "Baby" and "Boobie" (I still breastfeed her), and sometimes mixes these...so that we hear "Bapy" or "Babie" and so on... Now, she's eating pretty much everything, as long as we cut it small bites enough for her to chew. She has almost 7 teeth, and that gives her a lot of chewing desire.
Every now and then, we hear a "Mami", but it's not as clear as "Papi". That's ok, though, because she shows me a lot of love in other ways...
One thing I have to say: Time is going by so fast!!!

Oi De, eu levo tantas multas dos pardais que meu carro deve ter o bumbum mais fotografado do Rio de Janeiro! Eu me distraio e quando me dou conta ja foi. Talvez esteja na hora de ter um filho! Quanto a meu casaco, eu lembro direitinho, meu casaco era igual ao seu, só que o meu, roubado, era cinza e o seu azul. :) e :( Beijos.
